Live Wedding Entertainment at The Wild Boar

We’ve had so many memorable weddings at The Wild Boar – each one carefully designed to reflect the couple’s characters and personality, and to provide a day to remember for their closest friends and family. What better way to do that than through music – it is the food of love after all! Regular contributors to our wedding parties, The Seals tell us a little about themselves and why they are perfect for any wedding celebration.

Tell us a little bit about the band

We are The Seals! A professional five piece party band from Cumbria. We have been together and touring for over 12 years and currently setting the Lake District Hotel party scene on fire!

What style of music do you play?

We cover a lot of ground… expect anything from The Rolling Stones to Dizzie Rascal, Bruno Mars to The Beastie Boys …. our show is quite a musical journey! We are an experienced live band played in our own powerful style to give an awesome live music experience at any function.

Any highlights from 2016?

We have played many amazing Wild Boar weddings – mostly indoors, but a definite highlight of 2016 was a super cool festival-themed wedding in the rear garden. If you want to treat your guests to some festival action on your big day this is the place to do it and we will provide the rock n roll!!

What were the stand out moments?

Playing the festival wedding, it was as the guests came outside after dinner – it was a surprise to most of them and seeing everyone begin to party their way across the field to the stage area was great. A cracking idea for wedding entertainment.

Had any unusual requests?

Not yet….. bring it on in 2017!
