Over the weekend Storm Desmond hit Northern Ireland, north Wales, southern Scotland and especially north-west England. Record-breaking amounts of rain fell in Cumbria resulting in localised flooding and power outages that affected the operation of all five English Lake properties and the surrounding area.
Our Lake District Hotels largely remained open for business due to the hard work and dedication of our team members allowing us to welcome guests and affected local residents.
Our Lancaster and Morecambe venues experienced power cut. However, power has now been fully restored.
As of today, Tuesday 8th December 2015, we are pleased to report to all guests and customers that all English Lakes Hotels are open for “business as usual” and all key access routes are open.
If you have any reservations queries, please call our reservations team on 0333 2203 121.
