Tea Party With Peter Rabbit
On Friday 15th February, the Lake District’s favorite rabbit will be hosting a scrumptious party lunch at The Wold of Beatrix Potter. There will be cakes, sandwiches, and plenty more plus stories and a chance to explore the World of Beatrix Potter! Fun for all the family. More Information
Become a detective at Dove Cottage
At Dove Cottage and the Wordsworth museum children can become a local detective for the day and find out the secrets of Grasmere’s hidden past, then make their own detective scrapbook. The activities are all part of their new ‘Phoebe’s Scrapbooks: Stories of a Changing Grasmere’ exhibition. More Information
Kids Free at South Lakes Wild Animal Park
Until 28th March Kids entry is free at South Lake Wild Animal Park. Get up close to some really wild animals and even feed the Giraffes and Penguins! With Rhinos, Bears, Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Cheetahs, Hippos, Emus, and much, much more you will have a really wild day out on the edge of the Lake District. Learn how to draw Cartoons
Budding artists should head over to The Pencil Museum between Tuesday 12th February and Thursday 14th February 2013 and join local Cumbrian cartoonist Robin Evans, where he will be demonstrating how to draw cartoons and set up storylines. Robin will be demonstrating with watersoluble pencils on enormous sheets of paper! He has big creative ideas to share and loves audience participation! More Information
Low Wood Bay Resort Children Activities
Guests at Low Wood Bay have lots to look forward to this holiday. We have plenty of activities to amuse children and parents alike, no one will be complaining that they’re bored. Throughout the holidays we will be hosting Children’s pizza parties, Croquet on the lawns, Skittles in the Low Wood Club, and orienteering in the resort’s grounds. Adults can even get their car valeted on Saturday 16th February!
